Well the morning was not looking bright, sun wise. It poured last night with lightning happening all around our site at Crooked Creek and the morning came as a dull grey with lots of low cloud. Driving to Prince of Wales hotel to get a cool sunrise shot, in the dull grey, my hopes were elevating as I caught sight of the could mix and really low clouds in the valley. Well as I was setting up the camera this image was what happened. The sun, just rising, found a hole in all that low cloud and gave me this, WOW!!!

Buhler's World is a portal into my diverse world. Primarily the focus is of my work as an artist and photographer; however, if you look closely, you will catch glimpses of my other activities. I love early mornings with fog lifting, animals wandering to feed, the deep blue just before the sun peaks above the horizon, the rainbow caught in a waterfall's mist, anywhere my camera focuses on the magnificence of our world. A new endeavour, event photography has a luring charm, having to work within the often less than ideal lighting environment, watching, waiting, for that perfect moment to capture the mood, the emotion that people want to remember....
